Supplies: Paper Bag Puppet PDF, Paper Bags, Craft Scissors, Craft Glue, Crayons
One of the key elements in the story of Jesus's Triumphal Entry is the way the people of Jerusalem actively participated in declaring Jesus as king. In one rapturous moment of celebration, the crowd on the streets that morning gave us a sneak peak into what heaven will be like.
This idea recreates that moment in a fun and active way and with a lot of words that start with the letter P.
Print out the Paper Bag Puppet PDF for each of the students in your kids church and give them a paper lunch bag.
They will color and cut out the robe and palm branch and then glue those pieces to the paper bag. Then they will draw a face on the bottom of the paper.

Once they're all finished, your students can use their new paper bag puppets to recreate that amazing moment in Jesus's life and ministry.
