Supplies: Peeps
Have you ever watched a movie or tv show in which several stories are being played out but they somehow all come together at the end?
My favorite aspect about the story of Jesus’s death and resurrection is that is that it ties together all the iconic Scriptures moments that have preceded it.
In one incredible weekend, the life of Jesus becomes the culmination of the story that God was writing starting with the creation of fall of Adam and Eve, to Abraham and Isaac, to Moses, to David and everything before, between and after.
So here’s an idea to help you share the story of Jesus…
You select Bible stories like the ones described above and you recreate them visually with Peeps.
For example:
- Two Peeps wearing fig leaves to represent Adam and Eve.
- A little Peep on a marshmallow altar to represent Abraham and Isaac.
- A Peep holding a staff and sitting next to a tree to represent Moses and the Burning Bush.
- And on and on…
And as you tell the story of Jesus’s sacrifice, you could refer to these scenes.
I would not recommend attaching a Peep to any cross-shaped object.
