What makes Peeps so fun to use in kids church is how malleable they are! (And also that they’re so ubiquitous that it’s kind of cathartic to destroy a few dozen of them at a time.)

A super fun way to have your students connect in their teams or small groups is to allow each group to give themselves an identity. And that’s what this idea is all about.

Each small group gets a Peep and a potato-less Mr. Potato Head kit. As a team, they have to decorate their Peep and give it a name.

And that Peep will now serve as their team mascot and representative!
